About Public Decks:
- Only Decks with at least 10 items can be made public
- You can still change and edit your Decks after they are public
- While Bunpro doesnât have strict guidelines for our approval/rejection process, here are some criteria we use:
- If a Deck is complete or not (ex: only having 1 volume/chapter of a series)
- If a Deck is something one will realistically ever study from or not (ânotâ meaning spam or non-sense)
- If a very similar Deck already exists or not, and if publishing another will only add confusion
- If a Deck has an appropriate cover or not
- In the event a Deck does gets rejected, you are still able to study from it yourself and share it with others using the âShare your Deck privatelyâ system.
Is it worth having collapsible tabs for each section of decks? Currently itâs quite a hefty scroll to get to the perfection that is my driving in Japan deck and also the deck deck.
Weâre a few days away from releasing a Beta that fully overhauls the Deck index page (Decks | Bunpro)
Weâd love your feedback when that gets moved into Beta!
(The Beta for the new Details + Edit page is still a while away unfortunately â hence the stopgap pagination fix)
Just a suggestion, but it might be nice to have a separate category for this and other Bunpro related updates/threads in Community. Technically there is the âBunproâ category, but Iâm thinking something more for âofficialâ posts by Bunpro staff, rather than more general Bunpro discussions. Alternately, it looks like the Feedback threads have been pinned. Maybe other threads made by Bunpro staff should be as well?
Especially for new users who may join after these types of threads are made, it can be difficult to find them via search.
For example, the future of missing grammar thread and Fugaâs vocabulary posts come to mind.
Yes, big agree. The search is very unwieldy, and one canât have an unlimited number of pins. It would be good if there was a category that only mods can move posts into that are like general information posts or megathreads like this one. That way if someone else ends up making a relevant megathread, mods can choose to move it there too?
Hehe, thanks for appreciating my deck deck, but are you sure it doesnât fall under the âspam or nonsenseâ category?
Also for those that are curious and/or are Adoring Fans, weâve silently published the new Deck Browsing pages, which can be accessed by anyone here:
Wow, this new view with categories is great!
Also, itâs quite nice that words are splitted by chapters/episodes for reading and watching material.
I think with some time, good decks with proper structure will get pretty popular!
