I always thought of this as salmon roe, but I double checked on jisho and this is the definition on there:
walleye pollack roe (generally served salted and spiced with red pepper)
It’s really famous in the town where I work.

Also used to refer to the Huntsman spider (足高蜘蛛アシダカクモ). They prey on cockroaches, so they’re cool in my book.

This is a famous food in Japan, particularly in Akita, where my best friend’s hometown is. It’s basically toasted mochi on sticks. I have a little soft toy in the shape of one pinned to the wall in my living room :joy:

Also good look to the next person finding a word beginning with ポ. They do exist… :joy:
