What is your Bunpro level?

60+. I’m a bit more than half way through JLPT N3 Grammar

If you’ve taken real/practice JLPT tests, what’s a good estimate for your level?

Probably between N3 and N4, closer to N3.
I did the practice questions of the JLPT side a few weeks ago. N4 was at 80% and N3 at 65%.

Do you enjoy watching Japanese media? If so, what type?

Yes, mostly anime. I sometimes watch YouTube stuff. Mostly with subtitles though.

Do you enjoy reading Japanese media? If so, what type?

Yes, pretty much only Manga, when I’m not actively trying to find learning material.

Would you only like to match with users of your same skill-level?

Yes, preferably.

If you are a user of WaniKani, what level are you currently at?

40-50

What are you truly looking for in a partner?
I’m mainly looking for a study partner. So talk about studying Japanese and study together.
The other points are of cause welcome as well, might even be part of that.

  • Yes, I’m always game to give something a chance but anime is most common for me

  • Yes, even though I don’t do much reading nowadays. I’d love to get into it though

28, stalled out repairing cards that are leeches, admittedly my Anki deck is getting me beyond this point but I don’t know how to quantify this.

What are you truly looking for in a partner?

All but watch content with, maybe someone to practice text based conversations with too. I am very skewed towards reading comprehension and my listening is at a very low level right now.

CST morning and afternoon/early evening. Discord is best because we can message when we’re available to.

  • 20 - 40 I mainly use Bunpro to look up grammar

Probably around N4 level, I have passed the N5 exam and I am planning to take the N4 exam next month

Yes, but I haven’t really watched much so I hope I can get some recommendations and maybe watch together.

I enjoy reading but haven’t really dabbled into Japanese materials yet but will be happy to read together.

I’m heading to Japan in a few months so I would like to focus on improving quickly through any methods.
