Tab Changes?

I just got home from a day out… I’m extremely happy to see my favorite screen again.

Really, thank you so much.

What does “硬” mean on some of the cards in “Lessons”?
Thanks in advance for any insight!

I believe they indicate that the speech register is formal (硬い)!

That you so much, @Sean .

This menu is quite useful to me too, sad to see it removed. The Grammar Library seems promising, though.

One suggestion: could the N level big boxes be made collapsible? I mean, introducing a + at the upper right hand corner so that, if you press it, you just see Nx?

Thus

and, if you click on the +, this happens:

This is being worked on and will be released into an open Beta, probably tomorrow, or at least this week!

I’m so sad about this. I have the lessons page bookmarked and it’s almost the only way I access content on the site, so I’ll keep using it until it’s gone. I don’t like the organization of the alternatives :frowning:

I’m in the same boat, but I’m sure we’ll get used to it.

@lunchbox1 @cafelatte

Please check out the Beta for the Grammar Library:

We’re hoping the new Grammar Point page is as navigable as the old Lesson page.

I think I already use it XD
I guess because I opted into Beta previously?

Shouldn’t be the case just yet.
Check this section of the settings to be sure

AH okay got it! Thanks!

Thanks for the link. It could be worse, but I just like how the original lessons page had literally zero scrolling. Everything was easily visible at a glance and just a couple of clicks got you to where you needed to be. Maybe it will be changed, but right now the N5-N1 tabs default to being open on the grammar library, so if I want to go to N3 I have to do a ton of scrolling or click to close the n5 and n4 tabs so that N3 is at the top. If all the tabs default to being closed, it would be close enough to how the original lessons page functioned.

I’m watching that mian thread pretty closely for feedback, so it’s definitely something I’m considering adding.

I’m afraid adding more clicks for all the other users could be detrimental tho.
Will wait for more feedback from other users
