考えれば考えるほと?

Structure: でもね、考えれば考えるほと、それは不思議と本質というものからずれちいってしまう。

I’m having a hard time finding a grammar point for this in either BunPro, Dictionary of Japanese Grammar or Handbook of Japanese Grammar Patterns. Is this idiom or am I looking this up wrong? It came up in Blood-C (E5) on Animelon. I didn’t think と a typo for ど either; the spoken word matches the subtitles.

Nevermind, I think this a typo based on the VばVほどform. Not sure why the voice acting matched…
