I’ve noticed at least some of my A1 cards have had the reading mode available for some time (I had to switch to reading mode manually though).

Can’t give you an exact date, but I can say that with the recent round of hiring that was advertised on the site and here on the forums, one of the main things that we were looking for was some new team members that are going to be able to help with the polish aspects of the site, such as making sure all forms of study are available for all of the content that we have.
So there will be people that are dedicated to this very soon. I would say that you can expect this to be complete or near completion somewhere around October.
