View of all vocab / grammar under review plus aggregate actions

Review stacks can get pretty large (upwards of multiple hundreds).

Some of that vocab isn’t as important as others.

I want to be able to edit on aggregate (select multiple vocab cards at a time and perform an action on all of them), namely removing or adding them to review.

I couldn’t find a way to perform actions on multiple cards at once, and going into each card individually for like 650 in-review cards is obviously time-consuming.

Anyone else think this would be useful?

I agree this would be useful :raising_hand_woman:

This sort of thing will be available through the Decks system very soon, if you happen to have a Deck with all your studied words in it.

We’ll likely be making a new post for it when it’s released, or posting about it in this thread.

I’m not sure if most people actually store all of the cards they’re reviewing into a single deck (or even in any deck at all).

That requires forethought and understand of how Bunpro works. Since I didn’t know how decks worked, I never put any of the cards I marked as “review” into a deck.

That’s how I wound up with hundreds of reviews and no way to easily reduce cards I didn’t actually want to review.

It might be helpful to create a default “all cards” deck for everyone (every card that they ever review gets added to there) so that if someone wants to clear all cards from their review, it’s possible.

Yeah it’s a bit of a power-user feature.
We’re working on a better Onboarding that should help users understand how Decks correspond with what shows in their Learn queue.

Most users Learn from only a few sources (e.g. Genki 1 and Genki 2, Bunpro Grammar N5) – so they’ll have most of the stuff they learn inside of those two Decks.

I’m guessing you wanna perform actions on mostly Vocab?
If it’s Grammar, then you can always use the multi-select tool inside of the Grammar Library

Correct, most of the actions I want to perform are on vocab items.

(Although the option to be able to perform on both vocab and grammar items would be the most ideal/comprehensive solution)
