Over the last few days, there was a great improvement in speed and reliability, at least in my experience! Awesome job!

I’m just recently picking up bunpro again, but today I’m experiencing what I would definitely call slow load times. Five to ten seconds between clicking summary on study and seeing the review. But at the same time the actual reviewing seems to be loading fairly well.
I have only just signed up to the platform, but the lag was noticeable from the get go. No scripts running, nor is the Wanikani API integration turned on. Everything is set to default across the board. Primarily using Safari on iPad, but have the same issue on Mac / 12 Pro (again, Safari). I’m in the U.K., and I sign on around early morning, lunch, evening - makes no difference what the time is. Reviews are slow, but tolerable. The study session will regularly timeout, and is often unresponsive if I try to jump forward.

The worst thing for me (beside the lag) is the scripts that do not run, and make the webpage freeze for several seconds (when other pages that are open at the same time will run smoothly).
I run Bunpro on the Apple family (iMac, iPhone, and iPad).
What a difference a day makes, today the site is speedy and responsive for me using Safari on my Mac whereas I had switch to Chrome yesterday to keep it from crashing tabs. Not sure what changed but positive step

I had this same issue and it ended up being that my WaniKani API key was outdated.
Hello, just found this thread - has anyone else been experiencing slow load times again? I just started using Bunpro and love it as a learning resource but when I try to study chapters in a learning path, it becomes almost non-responsive.
I use it on Safari / iPad.

I thought I’d chime in to say that when I do reviews, it will often freeze once I’ve typed in an answer and pressed enter. It will show green/red, but I am unable to move to the next question or use backspace to edit my answer. In that case the only thing that helps is refreshing the page. Often it’s much snappier then, as well.

I use it on Chrome/Windows, and lately Bunpro page keeps freezing or crashing. Sometimes I have to wait more than one minute until the next sentence shows up on screen. This kind of problem happens frequently, I just type the answer and press Enter and the next minute the site stops working.
When I run out of patience, I hit F5

Just for reference, Bunpro has been smooth and quite fast for me the last weeks (and before).
Europe, Chrome, with WK API, near the start of N3 unlocked.

Same here, the thing that put me off using bunpro the most is how painfully slow it is
I want to add that I have experienced fast loading of every single session Ive had of late.
So, good work admins! It’s super fast compared to a few months ago.

Still having this issue. The reviews freeze long enough to prompt chrome to close the unresponsive tab. It’s been worse lately

The performance of the website has gotten worse lately. For example, there is frequently a delay of some seconds after clicking submit and before the next review item shows up.
I agree that Bunpro is way more slower than before. My guess is that it started when the grammar update landed.
The slowest requests are related to the reviews forecast.
Weirdly it is the fastest it has ever been for me. Almost instant transition between reviews in lightning mode, where as before I was maybe waiting a second or even up to five seconds or more sometimes.
Yeah it’s been a lot faster than before when there were a ton of weird hiccups. I’ll get the occasional slowdown when opening up reviews but it’s all fast as usual, sucks to see it happen to others though.

After taking a while to load a review session, now it doesnt hide the furigana for the words I know from WK.
