Thinking that staying like this would be of no use, the husband now changed into his discarded clothing one more time.
”I’ll go search the road we took one more time now. Maybe I’ll find it.”
After the husband left, ???, wearing her dress, collapsed onto the chair.
”What shall I do? What shall I do?”

“I can’t leave things like this”, the man thought and put back on the clothes he had taken off. “I’ll look back down the way we came. Maybe something will turn up.” After her husband left, Matilda fell back into the chair with the dress still on. “What on earth shall we do? What on earth shall we do?”

Was surprised to see that there was a book with my name in the title today (In Japanese at least) 
. A little bit of a longer one! アッシャー家の崩壊
アッシャーが手に（？）を持って入ってきました。彼の顔色はあいかわらず悪かったけれど、目がギラギラとしています。アッシャーは言いました。
君はあれを見たか。
え？なんのことだい？
アッシャーは窓に近づいて低い声で言いました。
まだ見ていない（のなら見るがいい？？？）
そして嵐は吹き（？）というのに、窓を大きく開けたのです。
Asher came in holding (?). His expression was bad as usual, but his eyes are shining. Asher said:
Did you see that?
Uh? What are you talking about?
Asher approached the window and said in a low voice:
You still can’t see it (???)
Then, despite the storm (?), he opened the window wide.

Usher entered the room holding a lamp in his hand. He looked unwell as before, but his eyes are blazing. Usher said,
”Have you seen it?”
”Huh? What thing?”
Usher approached the window and said in a low voice,
”If you haven’t seen it yet, you had better see it”

Little bit of a short one today from にんじん. Just a heads up that that is the character’s name and they aren’t refering to carrots every 10 seconds.
にんげんまめの入った鍋 - hot pot with human beans!? 
おじさんは普段は（趣味？）一度くらいしか料理はしません。でもにんじんが遊びに来る日は（？）豆の入った鍋を火にかけて、にんじんのために食事の（支度？）をしてくれていました。
Usually the old man cooks only once (?). But when にんじん visits, cooks a pot of beans(?), and prepares the meal for にんじん.
おじさんは普段は週に一度くらいしか料理はしません。
でも、ニンジンが遊びに来る日は、インゲン豆の入った鍋を火にかけてニンジンのために食事の支度をしてくれていました。
The old man would usually only cook about once a week.
But, on the days that Ninjin would come over to play, he’d heat up the pot of green beans, and prepare a meal for Ninjin’s sake.

ろば I’d guess it’s ？馬 some kind of horse or similar animal? since Don Quixote is calling it a proper horse, it’s probably not a horse at all

見てみろサンチョ、あの立派な馬に乗った（騎士？）が被っているものを、あれは（？）のかぶとだ。
The next day, it was raining lightly since the morning. They both were moving forward (with their horses?) under the light rain, and a man came riding a (?) across the road.
Look, Sancho, the (warrior?) riding that beautiful horse, he is wearing the (???) helmet.
次の日は朝から雨がぱらついていた。
小雨の中を二人が馬を？進めて行くと道の向こうから驢馬に乗った一人の男がやってきた。
「見てみろサンチョ、あの立派な馬に乗ったきしがかぶっているものを。あれはマンブリーののかぶとだ。」
The following day, the rain came sprinkling down from the morning.
As the two advanced through the drizzle on horseback?, from far away a man riding a donkey was coming along.
“Look, Sancho! At the thing that knight riding that fine horse is wearing. That is Mambrino’s helmet!”
I’ve read this one once so that helped today

Bit of a tricky one today that I think needs some extra context to help out. This clip is from The War of the Worlds, when the alien ships have just started firing on innocent bystanders and two of the characters are trying to escape. 宇宙戦争

ぬすまれた手紙 is another detective mystery, and this segment sees our main character talking to a detective about a case.

私たちは走れました、しかし、あまりの恐ろしさに膝ががくがくしすぐに転んでしまいます。遠くにやる○○○○白い家が同じように白い煙となって消えるのが見えました。緑の光線はあんな遠くまで届くのです、しかも○○まで○○であれば、どこに隠れて行っても意味がありません
In the blanks I either couldn’t keep up with it even after multiple replays or wasn’t sure what was said. I feel like I kept hearing making concrete like コンクリート作り or something.
My general understanding of the passage is:
We ran, but out of fear we quickly dropped to our knees. From far away we saw as houses were wiped away like white smoke. A green beam of light (First time hearing what I think is こうせん which I think matches the kanji I used above) was delivered onto us from afar. (Not sure on the next part, couldn’t put it together). It didn’t matter at all where you hid.

We ran. But our knees were trembling in fear and we fell down immediately. We saw the concrete (?) white house in the distant (???) same white smoke (?). The green (?) . But if theres concrete (?) there is no point in hiding anywhere.
ところで（そうか？）、そのとても面倒な事件とはどんな事件なのですか。私たちはもう殺人事件にはかかわり（？）ありませんよ。
いやいや、わしが今かかわっている事件はそんな（血なまぐさい？）事件ではないよ。きわめてシンプルな単純な事件なのでわれわれ警察だけで解決できる信じているのだがね。
By the way (?), what kind of incident is this troublesome one? We aren’t involved with the murder case anymore.
No, the case where we are involved isn’t that (bloody?). Its an extremely simple and plain case, so I feel confident that we, the police, can solve it by ourselves.
