This 新しい thing always shows number for grammar reviews, even when hovering over vocab.

And is everything okay with the 14th day on the graph? It almost always shows zero. Except when there’s some reviews in the midnight I guess.

the running-totals look great thank you

I’m not sure, どっちもいい

I changed it so that it includes current reviews!
So now for both the cumulative and the new-items-only types, you can get the information from the other/opposite type by hovering over the bars.

This 新しい thing always shows number for grammar reviews, even when hovering over vocab.

This was done on purpose! Thought separating it would be overkill~

@Pablunpro @ThePurpleOrange

We have fixed the Activity graph issue.

The data will now be the same regardless of language – turns out we were using two different time zones. These have been matched so this issue should no longer exist.

Please just let us know if it does show itself again!

直してくれてありがとう!

However, I’m afraid it still behaves differently while in Japanese language. :sweat_smile:

These are the Activity graphs when English language is set, presented in chronological order:

This is their counterpart when Japanese language is set:

Moreover, I haven’t done any reviews today (it’s 7AM here) but the ‘Japanese’ Activity graph shows 9 Vocab reviews and 6 Grammar reviews for today. :cry:

Is there anything I should do to bring the fix about (clear my cache, change some setting…)?

@Pablunpro I’m also still seeing the same behaviour unfortunately, not done any reviews today:

@veritas_nz Is it worth noting that I am in the London (UTC) timezone? Does the fix still work if your timezone is set to mine?

@veritas_nz Also as a separate issue - now that the review button is split the main button no longer shows the review count:

I’d expect to see the total vocab + grammar here?

I’m interested to see that your “Learn” button still shows a “learn count” though.
I’m guessing it’s because you don’t have a secondary “vocab” deck designated, so the system isn’t replacing the “learn count” with a dropdown :thinking:

For reference, mine appears as:

That’s interesting, I didn’t realise it does it for lessons too - yeah, that sounds like what must be happening because I haven’t marked a vocab deck to learn.

I also seem to have an issue where the count of the grammar items completed after doing reviews does not match the y-axis of the graph - I did complete those 41 reviews, but the chart has it closer to 100:

My count for vocab today was 45, the count for grammar was 41 - added together is 86, which looks like where the grammar line is. Is the light blue zone mistakenly a total of grammar items + vocab items?

EDIT: Did some more vocab lessons to test - yep, looks like both lines go up at the same rate. It is a total of both. It also affects English mode.

@bunnypro

The lil arrow was hard to click to activate the dropdown, so we decided to make the whole button be the dropdown button.
We then decided to remove the total-count, as it was irrelevant until you opened that menu anyway.

As for the pill showing for Learn, as there is no drop-down, there is a pill!

Hope that clarifies things.
Not sure how you guys feel about the new buttons so just let us know!

To be honest, I would like to be able to see at least the total number of reviews to do immediately and clearly when accessing the dashboard, without having to click on a drop-down arrow (but ideally see both numbers of reviews available, for grammar and vocab separately).
I always review grammar separate to vocab, so ideally see both numbers, but I can live with having to click the drop-down to access that info!
Currently, the only way for me to see how many reviews I currently have to do at a glance, without clicking anything, is to check the review forecast graph. It just feels like one of the most important numbers that could do with being instantly made aware of in a prominent position though.

I’m not sure I follow about “Learn” because I have a drop-down for it - I can live with having to click on the drop-down to access the vocab deck, though again I would ideally prefer to be able to access grammar and vocab easily and separately.

I haven’t been following this thread much but is there a reason why there aren’t just two review buttons (one for vocab, one for grammar) which just becomes one button if you have the setting on to do reviews together? Equally, why not multiple buttons for studying from different decks?

Speaking of which, I would like to suggest to be able to have a custom deck/queue/turn bookmarked grammar into a deck you can study from. Maybe you can already do this and I missed it.

@veritas_nz

Similar to what @bunnypro said - I definitely prefered it when the vocab and grammar were separate buttons as I usually only reviewed either vocab or grammar at a time, the dropdown is currently an additional click as well as hiding the number of current reviews for each.

Having said that I like the redesign so far, this is probably the only change where I prefered it as it was.

Agreed - everything else looks great and definitely much improving over time! :+1:

Indeed it does!

If you are actually in London, you are utc+1 right now I think.

Yeah, that’s correct - actually I’m in BST (+01:00). I assume Bunpro accounts for this and automatically adds the +01:00 when set to the London UTC zone which is the one I’ve been using:

Having some easily accessible chart that shows what SRS intervals take how long would be nice rather than having to check the forum every time. i mocked up (in ms paint lol) something in the blank space after the ghost/self study reviews, but another good place it could go is underneath recent badges (just some places with some empty space to fill). (i dont know how this would work with the website’s size scaling though)
