Feedback - Bug Reports

I just hit this screen after correctly answering a question:

I typed in ああああ and it told me that was the wrong answer, presenting me with the show answer button etc. but still showing a blank question. But a few seconds later it popped up the “finish for today” dialog.

hello, bug occures in the bill section, i was charged twice this month for monthly subscribtion. What should i do?

It looks like your subscription renewal failed. This left an outstanding invoice. When you created a new subscription both invoices were paid resulting in two charges. I have straightened everything out. I will also look into the warning that we show about this on the subscription page and dashboard to make it harder for this to happen.

Searches in the Android app appear to be case sensitive. The website is fine.

Ever since the latest update to the Android app (I think, it was at some point in early May), I’m no longer getting review notifications :frowning:

I tried clearing all data and reinstalling the app, but it’s still happening. I also can’t enable/disable the notification toggle in settings (it hangs if I try), or change the notification time (it resets as soon as I exit the app).

Is there anything else I can try to troubleshoot this? Or is it a bug?

In the audio file for the 気は確か vocab, it sounds like the は is being pronounced “ha”. I looked up some other sources to make sure–shouldn’t the は is this case be pronounced “wa”?

It would be good for the numbers of items for “Learn” and “Review” to appear in a uniform way:

Noticed this when hovering over menu items when clicking on “…” for deck units - I’m guessing it’s the translation into Japanese that might be missing

Hi! due to some busy weeks it has been a while since my reviews were all caught up.
I have the same issue again now: dashboard shows 30 reviews but when I click on them: “おっと! There were no available reviews.”
So this weird number of ‘unfindable’ reviews keeps getting bigger, it used to be 2 or 3 and now up to 30.
I’ve been messing with review styles in the last months (fill in/ grade) so I don’t know if this caused the issue.

Whenever I make a mistake and want to correct it, I click backspace and it now deletes my entire input instead of just the character at the cursor like it used to.

I’m using the Android app.

Sorry for creating so many posts lately. I’m not entirely sure if this is a bug. But I noticed in the past days that the missed items counter does not match the “cram N missed items” counter.

Forum weirdness with the order/dates of posts – it’s thankfully resolved itself now, but I thought I’d report it anyway in case it’s useful:

Does anyone else get this problem while doing reviews:

You type out the correct answer and press enter, and sometimes the question will just instantly skip. No audio plays, it doesn’t show the filled in answer, just instant skip to next question. And I think it will come back to ask the question you already answered, later.

I’ve had this on two different Windows machines with Firefox and Edge. It’s random and hard to get it to occur intentionally but it seems to happen once every day or so. A refresh fixes it - but this isn’t ideal when doing reviews.

I think I had this one, too. It was fixed for me by disabling auto expand info. Not the best solution, but still easier than refreshing. You could give it a try

The feedback page (Log in | Bunpro) gives this error:

500: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR
Code: `ROUTER_EXTERNAL_TARGET_CONNECTION_ERROR`
ID: `fra1::wlvzk-1749032382518-628b1f5742a0`

ID changes on every reload. Both on desktop/firefox, and android/chrome.

I noticed it a week or two ago I guess? I thought it was a temporary error/outage, but after I reported an error today, I saw it’s still there.

Hello, i am having this (maybe) bug for a vocab review of 初旬 (しょじゅん) where i type it in but it says that it wants something similar. Maybe this is my mistake and it I am unable to see it. The answer for the question also says it that it is 初旬 and looking at the sentence in the examples for the word it also says it.

Thanks for the feedback!
Seems this was a mistake on our end.

We’ve fixed it now! Thanks~
