I set my speech speed to 0.8 in the iOS app.

Occasionally however, I will notice that the speech seems faster than normal.

If I then play with the slider and put it back at 1.0, it sounds even faster… well, obviously. But it sounds too fast, even after accounting for the fact that I’m still a learner, and a lot of speech is going to sound fast to me.

I sometimes wonder if the slider is miscalibrating itself, loading my preferred position of 0.8 but then treating that position as 1.0. And then when sliding up to 1.0 it’s now actually playing at 1.2.

It only happens occasionally and then next time I use the app it’s back to normal.

I can collect some evidence to prove it’s not just me imagining it :upside_down_face:

The 24-hour tab on the results screen doesn’t show me the correct right/wrong percentage anymore, and I think the timing might correspond to when I switched incorrect answers to halve the grammar point’s level instead of reducing it by one (but that could also be totally unrelated). Maybe it only looks at the most recent result of each grammar point even when you’ve answered them multiple times within 24 hours? Whatever the case, the percentage correct value is always way higher than my actual performance. (Also it’s always been wrong for me on the mobile app, showing anywhere from like 0-10 reviews total in the past 24 hours regardless of how many I’ve actually done.)

I also get inaccurate session % stats (iOS). I just finished up one now and the post-session screen reckoned I got 69% right. Whether that’s true is unknown, but my profile page is showing my last session as 99%! Certainly not the case :sob:

I’m experiencing the same issue lately, but I can’t exactly tell since when.
Only on ios though, hasn’t happened on the PC

There is problem with typing text in Japanese on iOS. Both. iPhone and IPad.
I am using their Japanese keyboard and when ai am trying to create self-written sentence for grammar points, while typing text in Japanese, after typing every sign, the caret goes before the written sign and duplicates them resulting in gibberish text.

Above is example of me trying to type つもりです.
Keyboard works in any other app or website. Just not in Bunpro web app. iOS app works fine.

Hello, I already posted it here: 100% Correct despite getting Questions Wrong - #8 by Moe79 but maybe this is a better place. I am using the android app and having the problem that, even if I make mistakes in reviews, the app always says, I was 100% correct. Is that a bug or is there an option I can change so the app recognizes my mistakes?

@mrnoone Hupp, was there a release to your fix (scroll wheel zoom) yet for the iPad version? If so what is the version number so I can check in with this. Currently on v0.4.6 +258.

く* に Adverb Grammar Point is not displayed in the bunpro N4 grammar deck.

I have noticed this when I tried to look it up. Grammar shows up normally in the Grammar list.

During reviews, I seem to frequently be getting the same grammar point in back to back questions (out of 25 in this current batch). I tried exiting the session and restarting, and RNGeesus still failed to spread them out.

Is this right when you switch to the Wrap-Up mode at the end of the Quiz?
Or is one of them a Ghost before you get to the Wrap Up?

The button to see the answer in the 身 reviews does not work. I honestly have no idea what I’m expected to say in this one. It sure isn’t “Mi” or “shin”.

Looks like there is only one Vocab for 身 (this one – み).
Are you answering the Quiz with fill-in-the-blank style questions?

Thanks for looking into this. Should the web version work normally and could I continue there? Currently stopped learning as that doesn’t make much sense if the SRS isn’t working correctly :wink:

Yes, the question always is: " XXX(み)の危険を感じたので避難しました。"

SRS is working fine! It’s just the Summary that isn’t displaying correctly.

Thanks. Unfortunately, now I have another problem. After going out of vacation mode, I suddenly have 8 vocab reviews?! I could manage to find one in the vocab decks and remove it but I do not find the others. Is there a way to find and remove them?
