is this translation correct?

I thought it was 'the flavor in the pot"

There’s a span> visible on といい | Japanese Grammar SRS in the second quote above the red caution box.

I think you cannot currently toggle furigana when kanji has a link to a grammar point? Unless I just missed something when you click the kanji to toggle the furigana, it just opens the popup to the grammar point (which is a very useful feature in itself btw!).

For example, I just saw this happen with a sentence using 頃 which has both a grammar point link and furigana associated with it.

In this sentence for Tシャツ the word 短パン has the wrong furigana.

I just noticed this while reviewing… When I look at this grammar point during my reviews (by pressing “f”), it looks messed up like this.

But when I look at it directly, like from a search, it looks normal.

Also, in the second sentence, I think the verb should be either はいれない or いられない.
I don’t know what is はいられない.

Shouldn’t this be “The one who studies grammar is me”?

On ひつようがある | Japanese Grammar SRS, span> is present in two quotes just above the related grammar:

きつよう is being used as furigana for 必要(ひつよう) on these pages, but their example sentences are unaffected:

There seem to be a couple of issues in section verb-ないで (one typo was already reported, but since there are 2…):

  • The translation of the first example in the information section is missing the 日本で part: 日本では靴を脱がないで人の家に入ると怒られます。 :arrow_right: If you go into someone’s house without taking off your shoes, they will get angry at you.
  • There’s one て too many in the second example: 晩ご飯を食べないで待っててくれたの?ごめんね。

Also, the title and the example sentences don’t match the explanation in the information section regarding the use of ないで:
Title/examples: (Please) do not (for me), casual request vs.
Information: without doing (A).
The without doing (A) use is already explained in ないで.

Hi Katz, you are correct, these examples seem to be in the wrong grammar point. They will be replaced as soon as possible. Thanks for pointing this out!

I have one negative review for some reason.

A sentence in the middle of the information section on もし | Japanese Grammar SRS has a duplicate たほうがいい:

In the だけ lesson:

“だけ is used by attaching it to the base (dictionary) form of any word, except for な-Adjectives, which require な when they are being as an adjectivally.

This should be either “used as an adjective” or “used adjectivally” (preferably the former; I’m a native English speaker and have never heard the word “adjectivally” until today!)

ええ | Japanese Grammar SRS is translated only as “yes, that is correct, right”, but the example sentences heavily use “um, huh, errr” meaning.
