I’ve been getting intermittent hangs (1 time per 10-30 reviews I’d guess) while reviewing where it takes 2-15 seconds for input to become available. I did not see any new console messages when it occurred, but I noticed that there was a long request for user_furigana that was issued when the hang started. Input became available immediately after the request completed. This also repros on my Android phone in Chrome.

I tried turning off furigana and was able to complete 50+ reviews with no hangs.

There seems to be a bug with the badges. There are two that I am missing whose requirements I meet.

Do you have cookies enabled for Bunpro?

I believe @YRP_Fugusu was having a similar issue. Does switching to furigana off fix the hanging issue for you @YRP_Fugusu?

Yes, on both devices. I tried logging out and deleting cookies on android, then turning furigana settings back on, was able to repro after about 10 review items. I turned them back off and did not repro after 20 more items (on Android).

Do you ever use the undo or backspace button? This has happened to me once or twice recently, and you can tell it happened as the bar won’t be full when you finish reviews for some reason.

I made a typo and the progress bar at the top decreased; when I went to press undo, nothing changed which means that no matter if I entered the correct answer or not, the system will mark it as wrong. Trying to see if my use case applies to you as well.

for these particular review (this one and previous post), i know the answer for sure. So no undo.
fyi seldomly i did review via mobile, if it’s help to see the problems maybe.

I went on vacation mode for a few days last week. Before enabling vacation mode I had around 20-30 reviews a day. After turning off vacation mode, I am seeing hardly any reviews pop up. It feels like something is wrong cause I’m not sure I’ve ever had so few reviews to do in my years using Bunpro. I know this is a vague bug report but would appreciate any insight.

Hi again,
I ran into the same problem again on other grammar points which promted me to compile a (not necessarily complete) list of N1 grammar points which throw this error.
I tested the last two entries of ever N1 section, if the error occured, I tested the entry one above too until the error stopped occuring. Section 1, 2, 3 and 8 did not throw the error when tested this way.
I noticed the error seems to happen at the bottom of the sections and for the newest sections, maybe something was entered incorrectly on newer grammar points?
It would be nice if someone could take a look at this because I can’t imagine how I’m supposed to remember N1 section 10 grammar if I cannot use the cram function for it

When using the wrap-up function with vocabulary enabled the input type switches to hiragana during wrap up, and you can’t advance because it doesn’t accept hiragana input, but you can also not trigger it to fault because it expects hiragana, so wrap-up function currently doesn’t work with vocab in the pipeline :
