Feedback - Bug Reports

I sent an individual bug report but so far haven’t received a response.

I put my account into vacation mode for about 10 days. I unfroze it expecting to pick up where I left off, but I have zero reviews. There have been zero reviews every day since I unfroze it, and so my streak ended and I have no idea how to restart reviews (besides learning new grammar, which I’m not ready for). Any advice?

Hello, it says I have 70 reviews but when I click it, it says I am finished. All of these reviews are from the vocab section.

I’m not sure when this feature was added, certainly didn’t notice any update post (I remember you saying it was in pipelines). But I’m not able to scroll past the content that is out of the screen. And Damn this is useful. Having to put word in review and see Grammar point if any.

Hi @veritas_nz , thanks again and this is definitely working better now. A seemingly related issue has come up, though, where when I learn new vocab, no matter if I get it right or wrong, it gets recorded as correct (100% accuracy), and all are at the next SRS level as if I did get them all correct.

This is only when learning new vocab; when the words come up for review, it has the expected behavior.

This seems to happen regardless of platform, can someone take a look?

What grammar point is that?
It shouldn’t be wrapped so that there are so many items included.
If you can let me know where you found this I can fix it!

The always 100% correct rate in Learn is a (confusing) feature not a bug, and won’t be related to the second thing with the level being set to Beginner 2.

Looking into the second thing now!
Thanks for the feedback~

There always seems to be a missing space between a grammatical term and the Japanese it’s referring to now,
e.g.
“case marking particleに”
rather than
“case marking particle に”

Reporting here rather than on a particular grammar point with the hope that it could be addressed generally, rather than just on any one specific grammar point.

I have a different number of reviews on my mobile and my PC. 226 for my mobile and 75 for PC.

Where is this taking place?
Can take a look

It’s in the “About” for grammar points, e.g.

“case marking particleに” near the start of:

“case marking particleを” near the start of:

etc.

Thank’s for pointing this out!

This was caused by an un-ended <span> tag inside the content.
I’ve fixed it for this instance.

Let me know if you see any more :bowing_man:

Adding parentheses symbol do not activate the furigana in custom sentences. It used to work properly.

Possible to add a preview button to check whether it is working? I have added this sentence two weeks ago and only now I am able to see this sentence. And even if it was fixed I have no way to check until it randomly appears again in the review maybe weeks later.

I have sync Wanikani vocabulary on and clicked on it. But some burned Wanikani vocabulary does not appear as mastered on Bunpro. One example is あくび, is it because in the WK site it appears with Kanji 欠伸? If this is the case, it should be easy to fix it by using the Wanikani item reading instead of its name, no? Thanks for any help.

Are you able to show me what you’re inputting?
This is working for me!

My lesson count suddenly turned negative

We published a new version of the Dashboard silently to the live site.

However the count for Learn will also affect the navbar too!
A fix will be out for it tonight :bowing_man:

FYI for those concerned, the negative-number issue has no effect on your account/ability to learn.

Is there a problem with Bunpro’s servers?
I’ve been trying over a period of hours to do the same questions over and over, but almost every time submitted, it says the connection has gone (and then “Failed!” when selecting to try again).

NB Connection is definitely fine as all other apps and websites are working as normal.

Got this on supposedly finishing the session (by tapping away from and so effectively ignoring the connection lost messages), though there are actually still many items remaining when going back to the dashboard, despite having answered them a few times:

You learned to much, time to submit to unlearning.

I have the connection error whenever I click the submit button on the web app.
