I don’t know if it helps. But I noticed that (at least for me) the reviews that show in the app but not in the website are all ghosts I’ve already slayed or removed myself


I’ve restated the session a couple of times with the same results (queue order was random)

I wouldn’t say this is a bug but might be worth changing.

I was using Bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone app and accidentally failed about 20 in a row by holding down enter key.

I’ve turned off key repeat to stop it happening again. Default is 10 per second holding down a key.

Might be worth ignoring second enter key presses that are within 0.25 seconds or changing it to type ? If you don’t know.

How to delete all custom sentences? Since the custom sentences are not well supported.

RE blur

For me personally, I find the blur to be a lot more distracting, and disorientating in a way.
If some people do like the blur, then maybe have it as a toggleable option?

I don’t think it’s fair to say they aren’t well supported, but the way they work could use to be clarified.
Imo the point of self-study sentences isn’t to add more example sentences to a grammar point’s reviews, it’s to add specific sentences you want to practice, which is why their review cycle is separate from the grammar point they’re added to.

As you have mentioned if it is not link to the grammar point then just add a separate section as practice section will do. The purpose of the addition sentence is to enhance the knowledge of the grammar point with more examples. So if someone was to stop study and come back to study, it should be focusing on the grammar point that was forgotten and want to be focus on and not just everything in.

How to delete all custom sentences?

We’re discussing this internally at the moment.
I’m surprised mass-Self Study deletion hasn’t come up in the past.

Out of curiosity, what would you expect would happen if you reset Self-Study Reviews here?
Would you expect the Sentence progress to be reset (back to the beginning but still in your Review queue), or the entire Sentence to be deleted?

I believe this will disappear as soon as your Trial Period expires or if you upgrade to a premium membership.

Hey!

After today’s reviews the frontend api paths last_24_hours and last_session return 500 and that causes the review summary page to just show a spinner and no data. I haven’t seen this happen before and other than this everything seems to be working fine.

I’m having this issue after today’s reviews. The summary page is eternally loading, and as a result I can’t add incorrectly answered questions into cram like I usually do.

Hi, ideally it should be linked to the grammar point so when reset the grammar point the default and the custom sentences should reset to zero and add on to the srs timing. However, as you have mentioned there are technical limitation as it will be treated as separate entry. Then what about adding a button to add or remove the custom sentences to the review? Or if not just separate the custom sentences category out like vocab and grammar category.

The expected behaviour will be the custom sentences not appearing to the review after reset.

In the last couple of days I’ve constantly hitting this message while reviewing:

Nothing really changed on my end, so I figured it was something temporary and I should try another time. But it keep happening no matter what time of the day. I can’t figure out a pattern either. It is always during review, but sometimes it is almost immediately and sometimes it is later when I should be finishing for the session.

PS: refreshing the page does “fix” the issue, in the sense it goes back to the reviews. But it completely reset the session, forgetting the pending mistakes. Not terribly sure how much of the ones I did get right it saves but it is at least some of them.

It has now been a week and unfortunately I still haven’t received the N4 badge.

Is there any way that you can manually trigger the badge?

I am using the bunpro srs app (beta) on my iphone 12, and since the update yesterday the app will not launch. Stuck on the opening screen (black background red logo). I hope somebody sees this post…
