just wondering, what exactly is wrong?

Can we expect non-AI vocab audio in the future then ?

Yes! Our talented VA is setting up her equipment now.

Just keep in mind there are 11,000+ sentences per JLPT level, so might take a while!

Thank you so much for the explanation!

I don’t mind that much since I’m a heavy “undo” user anyway :slight_smile: But I actually liked that the scoring was a bit more lenient before. In any case thank you for explaining and I think the new hint variation is much better.

I was a big proponent of stricter scoring.

IMO mainly because it’s important to know what is is a grammatically-correct and useable alternative, and what is strictly grammatically incorrect.

I don’t like guessing or having to ask to know which is which!

I think putting “unnatural” under “grammatically incorrect” is a bit of a mislabel though, don’t you think?
Unnatural and ungrammatical aren’t always the same, so that just confuses me more. Is it wrong because the grammar is wrong? Or is it wrong because it doesn’t sound natural? Those can be different things

I’d expect it to take some time haha, good to know it’s planned ! Thanks for taking the time to explain as well :pray:

The big gray blobs block the text and don’t seem to disappear no matter what I do. Attempting to click on them does nothing

The review counter just showed 29
(20 vocab + 9 grammar)
I did the vocab only queue but after 10 it was done and cleared. Now there’s 0 left.
It showed 20 at first but it reloaded mid review and I saw the bar get much bigger because the queue diminished. So it was probably not an app cache issue.

@MattD32
The missing ‘troubled vocab’ section is being added with the current update!

@brethelm
I am looking into it!

EDIT:
I have found it! Patch should be available soon!

With this option enabled and the news that non-TTS vocab audio should be coming eventually, should we expect to start encountering the odd word with audio? Ie is it the sort of thing that gets rolled out over time or in bigger release batches?

After getting an answer wrong, if I press the backspace button (presumably to maybe replace just the final character, or some other character near the end of my answer), the entire word is erased, rather than just one character at a time. Is this intentional, or is it a bug?

Will likely be batches for whole levels, starting from N5, paired with an in-app announcement!

Fantastic!! This will be so amazing. I’m sorely lacking listening practice and making anki cards is so time consuming zzz

(On Firefox 143)

since yesterday the Forecast and the Activity is no longer rendered

I’m getting HTTP429 errors from Sentry if I check the dev console, when the app tries to load the graphs.

I can paste the Trace IDs if they help. Just haven’t because I’m not aware whether it’s fine to do so publicly or not.

Something seems off with the spacing, e.g. the difference between the spaces after the 2nd and 3rd kana here:

A few suggested answers here have です placed just before darou, now i’m no japanese master but I do believe that this is not a valid construction so I just wanted to point it out. Cheers

It appears that today 29 items vanished from my review queue today, the dashboard mentions that I reviewed 75 items today, but in reality I reviewed only 46 items (cf screenshots, ignore my poor score I suck at Grammar)

I had 16 ghosts and a few grammar points in the beginner stage that has been omitted in today’s review queue

It’s weird that this discrepancy happened.
I woke up this morning and checked my bunpro on my phone, it said that I had 75 reviews to do today, but when I logged on my laptop to do them, I only had 46.
The dashboard still mentions that I did 75 reviews

Not sure if it’s a bug per se, but the male audio for this grammar sentence seems to be missing the first ら. The guy only says ćœŒăŒçŠŻäșșă ăŁăŸă€ă©ă†ăȘるかしら without the “if”.
