Can we have the ability to exclude specific sentences from appearing or mute their audio?
Certain sentences, particularly those spoken in the male voice, are plagued by excessive saliva clicks, which can be quite bothersome. This issue doesn’t affect every sentence, but some are notably impacted in terms of quality.
Just to be clear, I don’t have anything against the male voice; it’s just the audio quality of some of it that is bothering me a bit.

Hi I would like to suggest making the Bunpro website PWA (Progressive Web App).
Honestly speaking, on mobile, opening Bunpro in a browser is considerably better than using the current apps, still in alpha state.
The experience of opening the app on browser is improved a lot just by implementing the PWA browser API, which is relatively simple to do, and low maintenance, specially if you don’t mingle too much with caching.
As a bonus, in most operational systems, you can install PWAs in your desktop as well, for some, it’s the preferred way to use a app on desktop.
So by implementing it, you kinda have a pretty good mobile app and desktop app, all in one, with simple maintenance and initial effort.
If you want to see this in practice, check out jpdb, that doesn’t have a mobile app, but their PWA is everything you could ever need.
I don’t know if this has been said before, but if the kanji could show up when you do vocab reviews on the Android app, that would be nice. As of right now, you have to click the “info” button for each review to remind yourself what the kanji for that word is.
I don’t know if it has been discussed before but would it be possible to have the option to extend this to the lesson itself? I like to force myself to read and understand the Japanese examples and try to understand them before I jump to the translation, but I’m lazy and my eyes tend to jump directly to the English if I’m not careful.
That annoys me as well but I noticed that the behaviour was different on web (the kanji does show up there) so hopefully it’ll make it to the app when they bring it up to speed…
Sometimes I don’t quite understand how the JLPT vocab decks are curated. For instance 正確 is not in any of them, instead being in deck “A7” (not sure what that means). According to jisho it’s N3.
And a word like のみ is nowhere to be found despite being rather common (even used in the bunpro interface!). Admittedly for this one jisho doesn’t list a JLPT rank, but surely it should be somewhere in there given how often I encounter it?
As far as I’ve heard there’s no official JLPT list for vocab, grammar or kanji, so it’s not surprising that different sources have slight variations in contents, but sometimes I’m really surprised when I want to add a relatively common word to my SRS rotation only to find that it’s either not in bunpro or in one of those “placeholder” decks.
Is there a dedicated place to propose vocabulary inclusions? Assuming that such things are wanted by the team of course.

Hello, thank you for great service, I want to give small feedback - how grammar hint settings work is very hard to understand. It took me a lot of time to figure out - I wanted to remove sentence’s english translation from hint, to do that I had to switch order to “Nuance first” and when select level. If order set to “Translation first”, I can’t disable translation without disabling nuance hint.
This is what I wanted to do.
My suggestion, please, separate in settings translation and nuance options and let users configure them differently.
I second this one so much! It can be implemented in JS pretty easily with a userscript but would be really neat to have out of the box.

I would like to see bookmarking feature available for vocabulary on the mobile app. Currently, it appears bookmarking is only available for vocab via the website.
I just did a quick cram with the missed grammar points and I stumbled upon an oddity that spoiled the first question.
So when I do reviews like normal I have them set up in a way that I initially only see JP hint. If I’m unsure what the heck the JP hint is trying to tell me, then I press Shift+space to get more info.
It seems that when you do [Shift+Space] during cram, the audio of completed answer plays for you, nicely spoiling the answer before you actually typed anything xD That seems like a loophole that should be fixed IMO.
First I love the latest changes that have been made to review order. So I wanted to make sure you guys know that.
Second I have a suggestion. I would love is the ability to set the review order based on JLPT level or Bunpro Level. What I have been doing is going into the premade decks and clicking on those to force review order. But it would be nice to be able to do it from the regular review section.
Next, is there any plans to be able to make your own grammar decks. I would love to be able to setup decks based on grammar I’m learning in my Japanese classes I’m taking. I could also see this a a community feature in the future maybe where people could create decks for textbooks you guys haven’t covered yet.
Last, for the vocab review, it would be nice to have a way to give my own hints or see my notes more easily when I get a word wrong. Essentially, I suck at rote memorization so I like to creat mnemonics for my vocab. So I stick them in the notes. But it’s not very efficient the process I have to got through to see the notes during a review.
I would like to do reviews on a similar style to the JLPT test, where I have to choose the correct answer instead of writing it
