When adding synonyms to vocab, the view scrolls down so you cannot see the vocab and meaning anymore. Is there a way to disable this behavior?
Feature request: a page with a list of recently studied grammar points. Alternatively, a way to sort the lessons by recently studied.
Just a small QOL feature for me. I practice my weekly bunpro grammar points with my tutor, and having a list to show him would be helpful. The lessons list that exists already is fairly good as long as Iâm studying through a bunpro deck in order, but sometimes I study stuff out of order.
Sorry if this has already been requested!
Thanks!
Hmm, if itâs to show your tutor, I think itâs possible for them to see what youâve studied in the last month by going to Stats | Bunpro and then âShareâ. Just paste and send the link to them.
Going down that page to reach âLearned Contentâ and selecting âLast Monthâ might be what youâre looking for (itâs possible to display only grammar or only vocab or both grammar and vocab there).
@LethalStarfish
Hey!
You can actually see recently learned content here:
Stats | Bunpro (scroll down to âLearned Contentâ
Possibly difficult to implement, but now we have JLPTs on Bunpro, maybe in the run up to either the summer or winter JLPTs, there could be a single full length and difficulty, one-time JLPT from N5-N1 available for people to take. There would be a time limit of a week or two for people to take this and assuming the user has completed it, their answers are taken and compiled to give a more accurate weighting to other usersâ answers.
I think it could be cool but realize users who are higher N level could skew scores on an N5 for example.

Hey!
We have increased the font size of the single word flashcards (and manual input)!
It will be released with the next patch soon!
I would like it if there was a way to add all the review types to cram. I use Reveal/Grade for grammar reviews (manual entry causes constant frustration) but that isnât an option for cram â only manually entering the word is possible. I tried flashcard mode, but it wasnât the same, and the reading practice mode shows the answer right away, so that doesnât help. I would like cram to reflect what Iâll be seeing in reviews, and that doesnât seem to be possible unless itâs buried in a menu somewhere and I donât see it. Thank you.
Could we get nuance hints for the grammar points that donât have them yet? Having to remember âthis is the one that doesnât have a nuance explanationâ instead of âthis is the one with the given nuanceâ can get a bit frustrating.
I would love integration with jpdb.io. Stuff like vocab highlighting and furigana based on the words we already know on jpdb and stuff
These have already been worked on behind the scenes and weâre just waiting to release (Iâd imagine next month)!
Thereâs a browser addon JPDBreader that also includes a partial Bunpro integration, although it hasnât been maintained. Thereâs also a more recent fork of it that I havenât tested yet.
I realize this is not a small thing
I was in Japan for 3 weeks and I occasionally used Bunpro to look up words that I didnât understand in order not to resort to Google Translate but keep the conversation Japanese.
It happened more than once that someone asked questions about the app, I showed them how it works, and their first question afterwards was âcan I turn it around and use it to learn Englishâ
I fully realize thereâs no such thing as âturning it around and it just worksâ. Itâs basically a second app. But you guys have the expertise and the systems in place. Maybe this could be a consideration for the future. People seemed genuinely interested.
I would love it if you could add a possibility to modify custom decks from IOS app.
I have my custom deck that I add words encountered in the wild but often Iâm away from my laptop with only my phone. It would be a big help if I was able to add new words to that deck from the app level.
I know this has probably been asked a million times at this point, but nevertheless I thought I would check. Will we at some point have the option to use kanji in our reviews? I understand the pedagogical logic of using kana, but it would actually be really helpful to be able to use/switch between both. (If this feature already happened I just missed it somehow, apologies.)
It is on our radar, but it requires a bit more thought before we can implement it.
No timeline for it Iâm afraid⌠
Under JLPT progress (voacb) would it be possible to have some kind of bar for non JLPT vocab items?
since the list of non JLPT vocabulary is very large and also expanding, instead of a progress bar I would just like to see how many items I have in my reviews that are not JLPT ones, and I suppose what status they are.
Hello, apologies if itâs there and Iâve been unable to see it but I was wondering about a ârefresh all decksâ feature. Currently I am going through each deck and refreshing it manually so it accurately shows my progress (not sure if this is updated or you have to refresh each time?). Cheers!
Hello, I just wanted to ask if adding fill-in review type for vocab readings has been considered?
Basically youâre shown the Kanji word in the sentence and have to type in the correct reading with the context and maybe hints?
I was trying to understand what ăăžăă°ăă㧠meant and there doesnât seem to be an entry on it.
