Looking at the answer “recovering from near-death experience” makes far more sense. I had to look up both 臨死 and 蘇生 so that threw me way off

Question about GiTW - is anything going to come of joining in each day regarding the streaks that were mentioned way back? I basically gave up over the past week or so because no badges or anything else have materialised, plus there are days when there aren’t any posted and there are days when multiple ones are posted. If you say that something like that will happen then I’ll happily backdate them and do all the translations from when I last did it.
My advice that I believe will make many more people join in (feel free to ignore - I won’t be offended)
- Post the new content at the same time each day - people can then fit it into their routine.
- Create some kind of scoreboard showing various things (streak, number of times participated, number of questions asked, etc.)
- Integrate it into the BP app itself so we have something tangible to aim for.
- Stop doing manga every day. It makes it less grammar in the wild and more grammar for people with a very specific hobby. I know you said it’s really difficult, but you could ask for suggestions from the community and add that into the scoreboard too.
Anyway, this isn’t a complaint, just how I’m feeling plus a bit of advice. I think this could be an amazing section that lots of people join in with - it just needs a little TLC.

Badges will definitely be awarded. In regard to the posting every day, there is a small chance that we may change the focus of it eventually (to something that takes less time for us to produce). Primarily due to the overall low interaction with it, from long before we started only posting a few new ones every couple of days.
There was talk of integrating it into the app, or perhaps the dashboard, so that people could see it and interact with it a lot easier. I am not sure what will happen in that regard.
I would love to do some other stuff apart from manga, and am open to recieving any kind of media from users, but when we initially mentioned that we would be happy to recieve media, we never ended up getting any, so assumed that it was something people may not be so interested in.
