I want you to be alive. Even if you get cancer, I will heal you.
I want you to be alive. Even if you get cancer, I will heal you.
If you want to live, even if you get cancer, I’ll cure you.
I want you to keep living. Even though you have cancer, I will cure you.
Intent: Sorry, I didn’t listen to your story at all, what?

Text: なんて強い子だ…この状況で俺らを励ますなんて…
Note - Sorry about heaps of manga lately guys! I am in Australia atm, so it is harder to get hold of regular signs
なんて強い子だ…この状況で俺らを励ますなんて…
To think that you’d be encouraging us here…You’re some strong kid.
Switched it around, I feel like it makes more sense in English that way. I could be wrong though
No worries! It makes for good manga practice
Such a strong kid… It encourages us in this situation
What a strong kid… He encourages us in a situation like this…
I’m totally fine with it. When I browse manga on Amazon or something I often run into some titles like “oh, I saw this on GITW”
I’ve been trying to get my friend into Australia for the last week for his study programme. Man your borders really are rock solid. Answering the same questions on 100 different forms, phone calls to hotels where you’re allowed to quarantine, timings of PCR tests have to be bang on…
Anyway after all that I just took him down to Narita Airport (had to get up at stupid o’clock) and the flight’s been cancelled because a volcano erupted.
What a strong child! [I know it’s probably not child] It’s gonna be tough on us going up against this one!
What a strong child… In this situation, motivate us…
So that’s why I had to flip the last few GITW to be able to read it as they were upside down.
I though it was a bug.

1/17: コンテクストなしで漫画の文なんてあまり分かりやすくないんです。
If there is a nuisance, it’s OK to deal with it here.
If it’s an issue, you can deal with it here.
If there is a problem, you can deal with it here
邪魔であればこちらで処理していい
If it’s a bother, you can deal with it over here.
If something distracts you [there], you can deal with it here.
If in the way, I/we/us can deal with it/him/her/them.
Without the context I guess there’s no real way to know exactly.
