What I do when there's no Japanese curry roux blocks

The ones I usually bought comes in 2 big blocks, so I’d use only 1 big block if it’s just for me alone instead of my family. Of course if I’m too lazy, I’d cook the whole lot and keep the rest as leftovers for several days, haha.

I guess this is the chance for me to share my go-to video when making Japanese curry nowadays  The ready-made curry roux blocks are a bit pricey in Malaysia and most of my family members are concerned of its Halal certification since many imported ones doesn’t have them.

Thankfully, this Japanese couple tried to make Japanese curry with ingredients one could easily get in Malaysia using curry powder mix instead of the blocks. This could be handy for those who find it hard to get the Japanese curry roux blocks in their town or country as well.

In the video, the couple were practicing speaking in Malaysian language while cooking, so hope the timestamp worked to when they were eating instead. That’s when they just spoke Japanese with a bit of English.

Warning: Video contains munching and slurping, so it might annoy some.

Notes :
For this grammar point, the (B) action will always be the primary action, but the (A) action is what the ‘while’ will attach to. The information in the (B) action, however, is usually considered more important/the main point.
