それでいいだろう - I think this is the most difficult part of this sentence to translate. Really depends on the context. But I’m imagining this is a character(a parasite?) making a proposal to the other character.
Verb stem + あう e.g. 協力しあう, 抱き合う、話し合う,etc. indicates reciprocity of some action between two people. Often combined with お互い(mutual).
Verb + ことだ “should” do X as a recommendation to someone of lower status than the speaker

In this panel, 合う is talking about a symbiotic relationship between an alien, and the host body. 合う can be a little bit tricky to get used to using as an auxiliary verb, but one of the easiest ways to consider whether it would be natural to use of not is to think about who benefits from the action. If both parties benefit in some way, 合う will (usually) be a good choice.
