Japanese quotation marks are 「」- you should also have に here, so it should read something like トムくんが「その映画館に行かない方がいい」と言った

“because it’s morning” would be 朝だから. I think 午前 sounds a bit strange in this context. Also don’t forget your を particle - 朝ご飯を食べます.

I would say 飼う is an ongoing action, so would probably say something like ８か月ぐらい前から飼っています。
