(I realize 名 is not the appropriate counter for lizards, but from the point of view of a lizard, I think I would treat lizard girls as human. So I wanted to use 人 first but since it’s a commercial message I wanted to make it a tiny bit more formal and opted for 名. I would appreciate feedback on the choice. Did it have the effect I hoped or does it just sound plain weird?)

おすすめしてくれてありがとう！変かもしれないけど、餅はあんまり好きじゃない。嫌なわけではなく、ただちょっとつまらなくて食感も楽しめない。しかし、日本で今まで本物の餅は食べたことがない。ドイツで食べただけ。
