Ngl don’t really know what that means either
I type in でしょう when Bunpro wants ね.
The hint: How about expanding the base grammar pattern to include the extra nuance within the translation?
How is this expanding the base grammar pattern? lol
I’ve been getting hit with near synonyms for a bunch of words that triggers my alt+f4 rage faster than I can think
I’ve corrected this hint. If you find any more that are incorrect (as opposed to infuriating), please feel free to submit feedback and we will handle it as soon as possible! Thank you!
its giving manosphere HAHA
The distinctions between all the different registers of なくてはいけない at the top of the thread are subtle enough that I don’t think an N3-level speaker could be expected to know them. I’ve never thought of them as more or less polite/formal, just a manner of personal style, what you think sounds good, etc. Maybe that’s wrong, and I’ve just been getting by on the gaikokujin card, but nonetheless it seems like a distinction that would come up when you’re cramming for N1, not N5.
Kind of a drawback to the structure of Bunpro honestly, but I would feel no shame about hitting backspace until I got the right one in that situation.
