Surprised that vocab and grammar was my worst, and while I always struggled more on reading than listening, listening felt much harder on the day.

Ugh, I wish. Contemplating taking it in December just to see how I do, but not sure realistically how much time I’ll have to study with other commitments. I’m planning on moving back to Japan in 2025 though, so hoping I can pass it soon after that since I’ll actually be immersed again.
I passed N4! I got 139 / 180. Vocab, grammar and listening were all graded A.
I was so nervous, because during the test I felt like the listening part was kicking my ass so bad. And afterwards I started to realize stupid mistakes I made in that section. So all considered, I’m very happy.
Passed N2!! 108/180. A bit more ギリギリ than I would have liked but so relieved.
I somehow passed N4 with 130/180 
N3 in December here I come 
Passed N1! I can’t sing Bunpro’s praises enough. Big time thank you! Just under two years of on-and-off studying got me here from the seemingly impassable upper N4/low N3 plateau that tormented me for years. I’m forever indebted! 
Passed N3! Lowest score was reading, so going to work on that in prep for N2. Thank you Bunpro 🫡

That was too close for comfort with the cut-off being 95 points. From here on out, it will be N2 all the way until July for me. Might consider sentence mining and reading more stuff. I also understood fairly quickly after the test that grammar is one of my weakest points, so ended up buying lifetime Bunpro during the sale to catch up with my Kanji knowledge.
Well done to everyone pass or fail!
Started Japanese learning late August 2023, and got 133/180 taking the N5! Next step is hopefully N4 in July and N3 in December, good work everyone!!
N1 不合格
Not surprising as it was a first attempt and 2023 was a busy year.
Did decently well in Language Knowledge (thanks in part to Bunpro), so really I mostly just need to get more practice with reading and listening. I have a kindle loaded with books and a phone loaded with podcasts to that effect. Then I’ll hit the practice exams closer to the end of the year.

and i thought i did really well at reading and really bad at listening. iam now confused.

Honestly quite surprised I passed, given how bad I felt after taking the test. It was a bit close all things considered (reading is pretty yikes) but otherwise everything looks pretty accurate. Funnily enough I also scored a 50/60 on listening last year on the N3 last year, which just goes to show how lopsided my japanese ability is ww

I passed N5! I would not have even know results were out without this thread - I’d just assumed I would get an email saying they were out but apparently not.
I only got 93/180 so barely a pass (I think 80 is the minimum?) but that’s because I sat much more important exams for my life in 2023 so Japanese studies really fell by the wayside from like March-October. Happy I passed anyway and hopefully I can get back on track in 2024

Exactly the same boat I’m in. The grading system makes it hard for me to understand what my strengths/weaknesses are. In reality, my reading is far superior to my listening, but according to this test it’s not?
To be fair, I didn’t study much for this N2 test, I just took it to see if I could pass. I think if I focus my study to passing this test (not just general Japanese study) I can pass. Essentially just playing the game, worked for passing the DLPT .
