I don’t eat meat but it’s maybe three cheap nights of only mega nama beers at toriki :pensive:
I hate to spend more than 1800 yen eating out tho lol so even 2500 feels rough…

I wish it could cost 7500 yen in Belgium  (it’s around 40euro). The price increased from 86euro to 100euro. I don’t know for other countries but looks like it’s even more expensive in the Netherlands :slightly_frowning_face:

Registered in Leiden. Their new website seems to work completely fine.

In other news, we now know that inflation in the Netherlands is 4%.
2026 test costs €125 through iDEAL or €130 if you pay with greedier paypal/mastercard.

With “completely fine” do you mean 100% fine? I still get this after paying

I’m at the same stage, but not worried about it. There’s probably a manual step involved for the staff to verify the payment, it’s Sunday, and they are a university, not a professional webshop.
I mean, both registration and payment worked, that’s encouraging right. Let’s call it 90% fine. Compared to 2 previous years when the (old) site just froze under load.

I’m slightly jelly, but I’m also encouraged by the news that it worked well for you. That’s great. :muscle:

Bread with a bit of jelly
I’m starting to suspect you might be a very tasty sandwich.

Very tasty is giving me too much credit, but at yeast I try.

That’s something oven raised when discussing this topic :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Or the JLPT … totally on topic, mods, honestly :innocent:

Apparently this is not the case this year. Applications in Japan open tomorrow and apparently they may close early depending on applicant numbers. Take care everyone.
Sorry for giving wrong information earlier.

I just registered for the N3 in London King’s College!! I was so stressed for the application and rushed through it, but it was fine in the end, even though the formal email will be sent within 5 days.

I just registered for the N3 in Japan. They did have a warning for limited spots, which is the first time I’ve seen that in Japan. But it’s clearly not the ‘sell out in the first couple of hours’ situation that I faced in the UK.

I signed up for N3 in Japan too.

I’m sure last time I signed up, I could choose specifically the prefecture I’m living in - not just the group of prefectures I live in?

I remember the same thing. This time I essentially had to select the entire Kanto region. I hope I don’t have to travel too far on test day…

Well you still have to put in your address, right? Should be okay.

They use your postal code to decide where you go, so you should be okay.

I checked SOAS website just for curiosity (N5-N3 opened today at 12:00). Within 1 hour, not only had the tests themselves sold out, but the waitlists were also already closed. And that’s with King’s also doing tests now. Absolute madness
