Just checking, would the Content team prefer we hold off on reporting funky translations in the A1 deck until they’ve had time to go through and verify them? It looks like translations for that deck are still being reviewed as most of them don’t have the verified check mark next to them, and I don’t want to inundate the team with a bunch of reports if it’s already on their to-do list. But if it is helpful to report them, let me know and I can help point out ones that need fixing.

Hi there! Yes please, if you could hold off on reporting, that would be appreciated! The A-decks have been getting fixed up in terms of translations, but we went a little bit backwards in order, so some of the other ones are already done while A1 still remains unchecked. I will get someone on it asap!

Only slightly related, but is the read/translate feature something that will eventually be added to the other A decks? Is that something intended eventually for all decks or is that not something that is planned? Sorry if this info is posted somewhere - I know the A1 read/translate was a surprise for me, I pretty much prefer to only add vocab if I can translate it from EN → JP, so its my favorite BunPro feature related to vocab

We plan to have Fill-in-the-blank (Cloze) compatible sentences for all A-levels (A1 to A20).
It will take a while, but the next batch (A2 to A6 I believe) are well on their way!

Is that for Fill-in-the-blank only, or Reading as well?
I often see A-vocab with multiple sentences attached, but still can’t select Reading reviews. (e.g.: 与える, if you need an example.)

I know this is picky, but is there anyway we can get the A decks ordered so that common words end up a bit earlier in the “make sentences for these!” queue? Right now it’s more “alphabetical” than “useful”.

To expand upon this, a lot of the words in the A decks are tagged as common. It would be nice to have a deck with just those common words with sentence support. Maybe multiple decks depending on their number.

yeah i was abotu to ask, it’d be great if we could have a deck for A1 and others as they become available - it’d make it lower barrier of entry to pick them up and them grouped.
i’m expecting to start winding down on wanikani in a few months at which point im planning on dividing remaining vocab by grammar and continue progress that way, so having a proper deck would make that a lot more convenient. as is, i wouldn’t know how to find all the A1 vocab to do so manually.
