Borderline failed N1 on the long reading section.

I will occasionally watch the news though.

As above.

Would you only like to match with users of your same skill-level?

Anyone is fine. I especially like teaching and I have Japanese friends and teachers who I study with so I’m not particularly looking for people at a similar level, but if anyone at a similar level wants to get in touch, feel free.

Hey, so I’m also living in Japan. Currently based in Nagoya but I used to live in good old Ibaraki (a student was showing me that it’s the least desirable prefecture to live in according to some internet article, pssh).

Anyways, you’re at a much more advanced level than me but I wouldn’t mind studying/learning from a fellow Ibaraki man.

I’m not the most reliable study partner ever probably but I try to use this app daily to keep my grammar straight. So I’ll probably be able to see your messages and reply on the regular.

What are you truly looking for in a partner?

Studying alone is not always an easy task, that’s why I am mainly looking for someone to share ups and downs, to motivate each other, to share progress, to discuss difficulties, to challenge each other…
I don’t think I will have time (on a regular basis) to do lessons together or stuff like that.
I would like to focus more on reading as I think it is the best choice for now to progress efficiently
