Feedback - Bug Reports

Hello! For the vocab 様 (N5 deck), all the audio in the example sentences uses the onyomi (よう) instead of さま, even though the furigana is correct.
e.g. おつかれ様(さま) gets read as おつかれ様(よう)

On the app (and I think on the PC version but I haven’t checked), sometimes when doing reviews I’ve input a typo or an additional space and it’s been marked as wrong. For instance, inputing "question " when reviewing 質問 and because of this additional space it’s marked it as wrong. I was wondering if it’s possible to ammend what is considered correct to include some typos, spaces etc. I tend to do my review’s quite quickly so I often make typos

Not sure if this counts as a bug or feature suggestion?

Ahhhh I see.

Yes currently there is no way to mass-change the Review Type for Grammar Points.

We should definitely add that feature to the Settings page!

There is a fix coming out for this tomorrow!
Will make an update on the most recent Dashboard thread tomorrow :ok_hand:

Hey,
It should be already working like that, for example even answers like “quastion” and any number of spaces on both sides should be accepted.
Next time it happens, could you send a bug report using in app function, would be great to add screenshot.
Cheers,

The checkmarks on the Reading Practice Lessons I have already taken seem to have vanished. Completing a new one didn’t make a check show up on it either. The read checkboxes inside each lesson seem to be fine however

Font issue? This is what I get in firefox:

Not sure, I’m on mobile. Using a purple accent, if the colors matter. I do not remember that before the colors update anyway, but I did not pay attention.

All until N4 Lesson 2 should be marked as read

What I meant is, font issue on the website, not on your system. If you look closely, my screenshot also doesn’t have any checkmarks, but rectangles with F00C inside

Font-related bugs can manifest themselves in many ways (invisible characters, displaying in a different font, showing the unicode codepoint etc.), depending on the browser and operating system, even if the root source is the same. So it’s possible we’re seeing the same bug, just in different ways.

Just noticed that the timings on the forecast graph seem to have gone crazy

I use Firefox too, and I can’t recreate that bug. Is there an extension or something similar you use that could’ve interfered?

The fix seems to be almost there, but I’m noticing some issues still.

My timezone is set to UTC-8, it is currently 9:48pm. For some reason the forecast graph thinks it is currently 4am, which coincidentally is what it would be at UTC+0 (accounting for DST; technically right now UTC-8 is UTC-7 with DST active).

Accordingly, the Activity graph thinks I have not done any reviews for Tuesday even though I just finished some reviews (10 minutes ago; it is still Tuesday in my time zone). Hopefully the time is recorded correctly on the reviews themselves and this is just a display issue.

I came to report the same issue, and my timezone is also set to GMT-8, but I don’t think it’s just a matter of the graph thinking it’s in a different timezone. My Activity graph also shows I have not done any reviews, but I did several reviews this morning, so even if accounting for a 7 hr difference, they should still show as being done on 8/29.
Also, the daily forecast still shows I have 3 reviews today, even though the daily forecast, like yours, is showing 7 hours ahead.

Noticed the function to add a grammar point manually has disappeared.
However, the quiz on getting the end of a batch of grammar points is back!
So it balances out I suppose

It seems like they pushed another update and that fixed the Hourly Forecast to behave like it was before (correctly). But the Daily still does weird things with splitting Later and Tomorrow and the Activity graph is once again one day behind (so it’s more like a reversion than a fix).

Also noticed that the forecast graph now shows exactly double the number of items that there are available to review (here, 60 rather than 30):

Can confirm that, after completing 1 review, the bar for this hour goes down by 2.

Hey there!

Discussing this internally with the team now.

How do you add these Vocab questions? Do you go through Learn or do you Add to Reviews directly from the Deck pages?
