Thank you for confirming it’s not possible yet, and for considering it!
The Review Queueing Timing setting of ‘Start of the Day (3AM)’ doesn’t appear to work correctly. According to my Forecast chart on the main page and from my own observation reviews are being added hourly throughout the day.
I have selected the ‘Update All’ button beneath that setting a number of times.
Update: I heard from Sean-Bunpro the following applies even with that setting enabled:
If an early-level (Beginner) item has an SRS interval of say 4 hours, and you Review it at noon, then it will indeed appear at 4pm instead of 3am the next day.
なぜ and なんで are listed as n5 grammer but don’t actually show up in the n5 grammer deck. Which is really odd because they have the tags for the n5 deck but when cross referenced they aren’t actually in the list.
The same thing occurred for me recently. どうして is also in that affected group.
なぜ
なんで
どうして
However, I saw this in the N5 deck’s description:
This deck includes all of the most common JLPT N5 grammar, arranged in Bunpro’s custom order.
I’m still operating on my assumption that “most common” means some will be left out, so I’d like to see the answer too.
I saw the same wording across all Bunpro JLPT decks (N5, N4, N3, N2, N1). I don’t know if there’s a set of comprehensive JLPT decks.
JLPT levels aren’t rigid. Word lists and grammar lists aren’t published.
I found that some grammar points that came up on textbooks when I was studying for N2 were allocated the N1 tag in Bunpro.
I see them in the grammar deck now under L6 (and also in the count, 130 total). Do you all see this now too?
Also see here where that should already have been answered
I’m not Doc, but my “items studied” and “N5” numbers are agreeing again. I also see those grammar points in the deck.
I searched prior to my response in case it was posted before. I didn’t search well enough because I didn’t find your comment.
When clicking through from the Bunpro homepage to a community thread, I often get repeated failures to log in, though it seems to work eventually if I keep trying:
I tried the “import” and will add them manually again.
Suddenly, the hotkeys 1 and 2 don’t work during flashcard reviews
EDIT: Never mind, working again now
The number of grammar points for each N-level has had an extra digit for some time now.
There’s a typo in the より他ない lesson.
“is a combination of the case marking particleより”
Missing space between ‘particle’ and ‘より’
I think the server is partially down. I can’t finish my review, and now even the dashboard is loading slowly.
had also a bunch of cors errors and api loading times of 8+ seconds some minutes ago, seems to be working normally again. smells like deployment to me
I added a self study sentence to something I wasn’t planning on adding to reviews yet, but it showed up in my reviews. There didn’t seem to be a way to remove it from the reviews without deleting the self study sentence. Is this intended?
Yes we indeed have added those items to the N5 Deck now!
I think we might have some more stuff to add before we’re ready to add though.
There was indeed a server spike roughly 7 hours ago…
Not exactly sure what caused it.
Will monitor it.
Thanks for the report and sorry for the bad experience!
Unfortunately this is “intended”.
Self-Study Sentences are kind of their own beasts, and are tracked entirely separate from the regular Grammar/Vocab Progress system.
We’re aware it’s not a great experience, and is on our list of things to change.
Technical limitations at the moment however make it quite a difficult one to do.
